A Stone to the Head (2019), 30’, drama for SATB choir and chamber ensemble (clarinet, two violins, viola, cello, piano, African drums, and fixed media). Co-written with composer Tanyaradzwa Tawengwa and commissioned by Grace Chorale of Brooklyn to commemorate the centennial of the Red Summer of 1919. Premieres March 1, 2019. Perusal score.

Laying Out the Colors (2015), 55', musical drama for seven singers, small chorus, two pianos, and projected images.  Commissioned by the vocal program of the College of St. Benedict and St. John's University and premiered in November 2015.  Watch.

The Navigator (2011), 80', oratorio for SATB choir, four soloists (two sopranos, tenor, bass-baritone), and chamber orchestra (fl doubling alto fl, ob, cl, tpt, tbn, tba, strings, perc).  Written with the support of the Martin A. Dale Award and premiered at St. Cloud State University in August 2011.
